Before you hit the field…
Not at all! Super Soccer welcomes players of all experience levels. Whether your child is kicking a soccer ball for the first time or already has experience playing, sessions are designed to help each player develop their skills, confidence, coordination and love for the game.
Players should bring a water bottle and plenty of energy. Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows them to run and move freely. Turf soccer shoes are preferable for this field, but any comfortable athletic shoes are perfectly fine. Cleats are not required. Shin guards are recommended for an extra layer of safety but are not required.
No soccer ball needed. Super Soccer provides age-appropriate soccer balls for players to use during each session.
We'll play whenever weather and field conditions safely allow. If a session needs to be canceled due to rain, severe weather or unsafe field conditions, parents will be notified as soon as possible and a makeup session will be scheduled.
Because Super Soccer programs run as small-group, 6-week sessions, individual makeup classes for player absences are not guaranteed. If Super Soccer cancels a session, a makeup session will be provided.
Longfellow Fields is located at 3884 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Oakland, CA 94609. Sessions are held on the outdoor turf soccer field. Street parking is available nearby — please observe posted parking signs.
Absolutely. Siblings are welcome as long as they fall within the appropriate age range for the program. Each child must be registered individually.
Full refunds are available before the start of the 6-week program. Once the program begins, registration fees are non-refundable, except in special circumstances considered on a case-by-case basis.
Classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 10 players per class — more individual attention, more touches on the ball and a better experience for each player. If a class fills, additional players may join the waitlist. If enough players are interested, an additional class time may be opened and families on the waitlist will be contacted first.
